As organizations are increasingly being challenged by economic turbulence, competing demands for investment and a reluctance to take risk are a key hurdle to funding climate action initiatives. A solid business case is needed to provide the foundation for new investment. Investments that provide a payback within 18 months are a low risk for most organizations and most likely to be funded. This increases the need for a solid business plan that provides comprehensive analytics and projections.

This bootcamp will help participants develop identify the right metrics and analytics for short-term initiatives, develop a business case for the right project/initiative, establish an action plan and convince leadership to support action.

Bootcamp Topics

  • Identifying a project/initiative with quick returns and probable success

  • Creating the business case to support funding requests

  • Using visual data in figures to communicate the business case

  • Stakeholder engagement strategies

  • Managing organizational and behavior change to increase success rates
