Join the quickly growing
number of climate change professionals already in
the ACCO community. ACCO offers membership
packages for organizations and individuals in the
public and private sectors.

Charter Membership Packages
Charter members will
form the inner circle of ACCO, becoming the leaders
of the organization as it develops its
infrastructure and member services (e.g.
certification, education and training programs).
Being early stage supporters involved in the
formation of ACCO will provide charter members the
opportunity to shape the organization and to stake
out a position on the leading edge of the climate
change debate.

-
Membership term will be measured from the first
day of the public launch of ACCO. For example,
if an affiliate sponsor joins today and ACCO
does not conduct its public launch until January
1, 2010, then that affiliate sponsor would have
a non-voting role on the board of directors from
today until January 1, 2011. Public launch
is deemed to take place when all membership
categories are available to prospective members.
-
Voting members will participate in decisions on
organizational goals, services, budget,
activities, etc. Additionally, they will vote to
elect officers for the executive committee of
the organization.
-
Complimentary employee memberships will be valid
during the term that the charter member is on
the board of directors. During the formative
stages of ACCO (prior to the public launch),
each charter member will be asked to nominate
one employee for representation on the board of
directors and will be invited to have two
representatives (including the board member)
participate in ACCO’s early stage committees.
-
Non-profit packages are
available to trade groups and professional
associations interested in participating in
ACCO's development.
