ACCO's Member
Referral Program is available to ACCO members in
good standing and to prospective members. The
referred new member must apply for a minimum of one
(1) year of membership at full price (discounted
memberships are not eligible for this promotion) and
must join ACCO within 30 days of receipt of
submission of the Member-Get-A-Member referral. To
ensure full accreditation the referral must complete
the application process and attach the referrer’s
name in the appropriate section. This program is not
valid with any other promotional offer or rebate.
Offer is valid for up to 20 referrals per year.
Other conditions and restrictions may apply.
If two or more
members refer the same individual, the member whose
referral is received first will be credited. Offer
is correct at time of publication and is subject to
change without notice. This offer is subject to ACCO
Terms and Conditions of Service found at http://www.ACCOonline.org/policies
and may be terminated at anytime.
Referrals Provided
by Existing ACCO Members
Credits will be
applied providing discounts that can be used for
membership renewal dues, event fees, exhibitor fees,
job bank submissions, subscriptions to publications,
tuition for ACCO certificate programs and more.
Members participating in this program will be
provided a quarterly statement with referral and
points status.
Referrals Provided
by Prospective ACCO Members
Credits cannot be
used to pay for initial membership dues.
However, for individuals interested in joining ACCO
as "Business Members" (a category that is not
currently available), referral of three
ACCO members will result in a formal invitation to
join ACCO. Business members who have joined
ACCO as a result of this program will then follow
the above for existing members with respect to
additional referrals.
Note: As
"affiliate individual memberships" are not currently available
to the general public, this program provides
professional services entities an opportunity to
support ACCO and earn an invitation to join the
organization.
Partial Redemption
Points can be used to
obtain discounts off of the full price of an ACCO
activity. For example, 3 points can be
redeemed to obtain a $300 credit applied to the
registration fee for an ACCO workshop. If the
workshop fee is $500, the redeeming member would
only pay $200 to attend the event.
-
Each point has a redemption
value of $100 and can be used for membership
dues, workshop fees, exhibitor fees at ACCO
events, job bank submissions, subscriptions to
publications, tuition for ACCO certificate
programs and more.
-
Points accrued for the first
five (5) referrals will be one point per member
for each year of the initial subscription term.
Referring members will begin accruing two (2)
points per member for each year of the initial
subscription term from the sixth referral
onward. For example, a member who refers
seven (7) colleagues, each of whom subscribes
for 1 year, would accrue five (5) points total
for the first five (5) referrals, then would
accrue two (2) points for each of the two (2)
referrals. Thus, the member would accrue
nine (9) total points.
