the NGO community to share their experience and

Research
Projects: ACCO’s Research Projects will
serve as a crucial foundation to shaping the
climate profession and establishing best
practices and methodologies. ACCO has already
immersed itself in a series of research projects
that are designed to reveal the structure of
climate governance in higher education
institutions and corporations. The first
project, focused on climate governance in U.S.
and Canadian higher education institutions is
under way (for more information about the Duke-ACCO
Project on Climate Governance,
please click here). Additional projects
focusing on industry, municipalities, states and
Federal institutions will be conducted in 2011.
Sponsoring ACCO’s research projects provides you
with an opportunity to play a key role in the
project’s development, as well as earn
recognition for sponsoring and participating in
high-profile and mission essential activities.

Groups: ACCO working groups focus on varying
topics of convergent interest to the ACCO
community such as adaptation strategies,
lifecycle of operations and products, energy
efficiency, clean energy infrastructure, climate
governance, and leadership. ACCO working groups
will analyze and develop case studies, best
practices and develop possible new approaches to
integrate into operational strategies. Group
participants include leaders and members of
industry, government, academia and the
non-profit community. Additional information
about ACCO working groups is available at

Literature:
The
ACCO Blog & News Site provides perspectives
from the ACCO community on critical and current
events related to climate change policy as well
as operational strategies and business
application issues. Sponsors can take advantage
of promotional messaging in the form of banner
ads, as well as working on thought materials
with ACCO community members (e.g. co-authoring
blogs, white papers, articles, etc.). ACCO
publications offer a fresh angle on topics that
are constantly discussed but rarely acted upon.
