The following guidelines apply to all exams under the Certified Climate Change® credentials:

Taking the Exams:

  • Each exam will take approximately 75 minutes to complete. You take each exam one at a time. If you don’t pass an exam module the first time you take it, you can try 2-4 more times*, though must wait at least 10 days between each try for a specific exam. You are expected to know and understand the content in the exams, and may not use notes or other information resources (including the Internet) to help you with answering questions to the exams.

    • EXAM TIME: The exams are timed -- please reference the time limit for each exam.

    • QUESTION FORMAT: All questions are multiple choice. Some have one answer, others have multiple answers. Pay close attention to question language such as "Mark all that apply."

    • NAVIGATING THE EXAM: Once you complete a question, you will not be able to go back to it. Choose your answer(s) carefully. Do NOT click the back button the browser or reload/refresh the page.

    • EXAM RESULTS: Test results are provided upon conclusion of the exam. If you did not pass the exam, you MUST wait 10 days before taking the exam again. Violating this term will result in suspension from the program.

    • EXAM DISRUPTIONS: If the exam is interrupted for any reason, do not reload or restart. Send an email to dkreeger@climateofficers.org explaining what happened and wait for a response.
